3 1/2 years between them.... Really?

Garrett posing for the camera. It is hard to believe he will be going into THIRD grade this year. It seems like yesterday...... well, you know what I am going to say.

Ethan posing for a picture- hate that it has red eyes. He can't start school this year, but he is really ready to in most ways. He counts to 100, knows all his letters and most of the sounds, can write his letters, knows his phone number, address, and all the normal stuff a kindergarten student needs. Plus, he is HUGE for his age... so he will always be the "big" kid in his class.

Here is where the title of the post comes in. Can you believe that there are 3.5 years between these two? Garrett is 8.5 and Ethan will be 5 in November. Amazing how quickly they grow!

Here is the most amazing fact when comparing my boys. Ethan is on the left, Garrett on the right. There is about 1 shoe size between the two! 3.5 years and ONE shoe size. I am guessing Ethan will overtake him in clothes and shoes in the next few years!

This is not a great picture of the boys' hands, but it shows that Ethan (on left) is not much smaller than Garrett when comparing hands either.

I blink- they grow. Time is flying. I am trying to enjoy them as they are and not wish their lives away. Thank you, God, for the blessing of these two beautiful boys!
