Upward Basketball, well, any Upward sport is the way to go around here with athletics for kids. We have enjoyed so much the lessons that our children have learned as well as the skills they have learned through being a part of Upward. They always pray before each game, there is a devotion at each halftime, and the coaches and refs and parents are always putting God first. It is a great environment for kids who go to church to grow more in their learning about God.. but it is also great for those that do not go to church regularly. They can see how God's love translates over into sports as well as daily life. We can't say enough about how wonderful this program is! Thanks Cedar Grove and First Baptist Churches for spreading the word through athletics in Roane County! We needed an alternative to what we have already!

Hey Brandi, since I teach in Lenoir City I never seem to hear about athletic opportunities here in Roane County. Do they have Upward for baseball/t-ball? We did Upward soccer in LC and loved it, but the drive was a bit much.
