September is the month for Pappaw birthdays. ALL 3 of my boys' Pappaws' birthdays are in the month of September. First, is my dad's. He celebrated #55 on September 1. Although we didn't get current birthday pictures this year, here are a few from other celebrations this past year. The boys really love my dad. They have both grown a lot closer to him since we moved in with them in March.

Both of my grandfathers have birthdays this month, too!
My mom's dad, Pappaw Gillis, as my boys call him, celebrated his 75th on September 3rd.
He loves my boys with all his heart and is a very sweet man. As you can see in this picture, he loves to play and aggravate them!
I love to see them interact with him! They love to go to his house to see the chickens and gather the eggs. I think these memories will always be with them as they grow up.
My dad's dad, Pappaw Dyke, as my boys have started referring to him, turned 80 today. He and my grandmother have always lived across the street from my parents and we are all very close. We all got together for a shower/birthday party this past weekend to celebrate. My boys love to go to his house and play with all the "neat" toys they have there. My Mammaw bought a toy that fits together in segments and looks like a robot to keep there. They think that is the best toy ever invented. They can't wait to pull it out each time they go over there.
They also love to spend time with Pappaw outside riding in the wagon up and down the driveway or walking around in the garden with him. There is always something to do at Mammaw and Pappaw Walker's house!
