Catching Up

Garrett had a sleepover a few weeks ago. We started off small (with cousins that were in from out of state), then ended up with 10 kids under 8! It was a blast! The kids ate, played, watched movies, ate popcorn, played outside in the woods, and just had a blast being kids! This picture below was taken in complete darkness. The kids were all jumping around and acting silly in a completely dark, empty room, so I decided to take a few pictures while they were being silly. This one is my favorite!

I actually caught them all (except Ethan) being completely still. I can't believe it! And, yes, for those of you that are being observant, there were girls here, too. Three of them were Garrett and Ethan's cousins, and one was a sister of one of the boys that stayed. I think we may have another year of this "mixing" left--maybe!
This is a picture I took this week after Ethan begged me to paint one of his toes while I was painting mine. He will kill me one day... but right now, he loves it and shows it to everyone!

Garrett's first day of SECOND grade! Wow, time sure does fly when they start school!
We take a picture here every year, and this year Kris took it... so it looks like he is shorter than he really is because of the angle looking down! He loves his new teacher, Mrs. Miller! Not that he hasn't loved them ALL so far! We have truly been blessed on teacher selection!

Go JACKETS!

Believe it or not, I've actually been looking for some Kingston shirts...where's a newbie to find these?

Believe it or not, WalMart in Rockwood has some pretty neat ones. There is also a booth set up at the football games with shirts there. There are two other stores, too, but I would have to give you pretty good directions.
