Getting the Cast

Here is Ethan while we are waiting for the orthopedic doctor to put on his cast. He is climbing under the exam table trying to find all the nooks and crannys to play in. You can tell he is really slowed down by this broken arm thing!

Goofing around with brother... always a good sign!
This one is a little more serious. This is the only picture I have of his actual arm without a sling on it. Since it is set, you can't see the break like you originally could, but he is so pitiful in this picture. He did not want them to unwrap it!
The final stage of the casting, choosing the color. Although Ethan wanted HOT PINK, daddy talked him into ORANGE. Imagine that! He was fine with it, though.
After all the tears are gone, here is a picture with Ethan and Mommy.
And, my happy boy returns! He is such a good sport... so brave through this whole thing. I am very proud of you, Ethan!
Now... to see if we can do this for SIX more weeks!
